CHRISTMAS IN JULY...revisited

Last summer I created a wonderful weekly gathering for my children as well as some other homeschool families. I called it SUMMER WITH THE SAINTS and we celebrated a different Saint each week. One week we celebrated Christmas in July with St. Nicholas. We used some color pages from the St. Nicholas Center online and also did a craft and had a snack of hot cocoa and candy cane cookies. WELL... the St.NicholasCenter contacted me and now our event is featured on their website. Go here to check it out. I am so honored to see something I created on a GREAT site like that. Also, make sure to come back and check out more of what we did last summer. I have a label on my sidebar titled SUMMER WITH THE SAINTS. Enjoy!!!

Until Next Time, May His Angels Keep You Safe~

My daughter's name is Marcie! REALLY! She is 17 and driving - ARGH!!!!!

I am trying to reach as many Catholic bloggers as I can:
PLEASE join with other Catholic Pro Life Bloggers by continually posting at every about Mr. Obama's UNACCEPTABLE stand on the destruction of innocent life - I propose we band together and make a peaceful but continual protest in defense of LIFE! Keep it going! God Bless you and Our Lady of Guadaloupe, Ora Pro Nobis!

Hi Marci! I am new to Catholic mothers online and just thought I would stop by and introduce myself.

I am the mom to 4 teenagers. My oldest was deprived of oxygen during birth...which left him with moderate MR...he was also given the diagnosis of PDD-NOS...which is included in the Autism spectrum.

I hope we can get to know each other.

That sounds like so much fun. Congratulations on your work being recognized.

Did you complete your Summer with the Saints? I'd be interested in purchasing it!

How is your little one's autism? Have you tried mangosteen juice? I've heard great testimonials.

Speaking of Summer with the Saints, I have been reading what you all have been doing on Shower of Roses and I think your ideas are wonderful! I'm going to be teaching a Saints class with our homeschool co-op in the fall and I was wondering if I could have your permission to use some of your ideas? :)

Hi Marci,

I've been following your Summer with the Saints over at Shower of Roses and I just love your ideas! I am teaching a Little Saints class with our homeschool co-op this fall and was wondering if I could have your permission to use some of your ideas? :)

Hi Marci- I have been following your blog for a while. I too am a homeschooling Catholic momma. I have started a bow business with 100% of the proceeds benefiting a local pro-life crisis pregnancy center. I would like to donate some bows for a free give away on your site if you would like. If so, e-mail me at doodlebugbows.blogspot.com
Thanks and God bless you and yours!

I am flatterd that anyone would want to use my ideas. I would be honored if you would use them with your friends and families.

I have not finished my book yet... still in the rough stage but i hope by this early early spring to have it out there so others can use it next summer.

God Bless you all

Hi, Marci!
These photos are great! Coincidentally, the UPS man just delivered our Blue Knights materials this morning. We've been blessed with four boys, ages 4 through 9, so we're doing BK as a (much needed) weekend family activity. We received a member's book for each of our boys, but the fellow we ordered from forgot to put our Leader's Guide in the package, so I have no idea how the program works. I didn't see any crafts in the members' books; are the meeting instructions and crafts in the Leader's Guide? (He said he'd drop it in the mail soon.) Or do I need to order something additional?
Thanks for the inspirational photos!
Donna
